Mrs. Melika has joined ZamZam Bank by bringing over 35 years of banking experience from the leading Commercial Bank in Ethiopia (CBE). During her long years banking career, she has served in different senior management capacities including, Acting President, Chief Finance Officer, Vice President – Information System, Vice President- Marketing & Research, Assistant Vice President Treasury, Executive Assistant to the President and Manager for Promotion Division & as an officer at various branches that are catering the day today banking operation. Apart from her regular duty, Mrs. Melika has served as a Board chairperson & a member of the Board of Directors in various public enterprises & an insurance company.

- MBA, Open University of London
- BA in Economics, Addis Ababa University
- Diploma, in Banking & Finance, A.A. Commercial College
- Certified from the globally accredited institutions (Crown Agents & Frankfurt School of Finance & Management) in areas of effective management skill, Human Resource management, digital services & other modern banking fields.
